Suzanne Miller is an actor and filmmaker living in Toronto. She’s studied at The Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City, Second City Toronto and Algonquin College in Ottawa. She’s a member of The Boys Club Productions, a Toronto-based, female-identifying collective of filmmakers. She can be seen in their webseries “Can You Hear Me?” (2020) Now available here.
Suzanne’s most recent film with The Boys Club is “I Was Expecting” (2022). She wrote, directed, and starred in this short film, which has gone on to pick up many awards in the festival circuit for her performance and story.
Suzanne has experience studying and performing classical opera, both on stage and busking on the streets of downtown Toronto.
Suzanne has worked in performance motion capture with the National Film Board of Canada for the immersive experience “Draw Me Close” as a technical stand-in for the main performer. She’s also voiced characters for multiple video games including the cult favourite “Krog” (Conjured Graphics.) She has also worked as a character animator on several notable titles, including “The Magic School Bus Rides Again” (Netflix) and “Rosie’s Rules” (PBS Kids).
Other film and theatre training includes studying at LB Acting Studio and RAW Actor Studio and several Shakespeare showcases with Shakespeare in the Ruff, where Suzanne was a member of the Guerrilla Ruff Squad.
